Have you ever walked the streets of the old town of Lübeck in Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein region? If not: It is a must and sight to see!

Small winding cobblestone streets with nice little cafés here and there, brick stone houses that tell you stories from the 19th century trading town and of course the small  and more than narrow aisles called “Gang” that lead you to the back- and courtyards – they all make you feel like Thomas Mann, who grew up and worked here, would just turn around the corner.

Take a stroll throughout this nice little city center and embrace the mix of salty air (due to the towns vicinity to the sea) and the almondy smell of marzipan… even the cats are sophisticated!
